As advocates of this most vulnerable population we defend children’s rights and pursue in alliance with other sectors of society to influence on adequate policy making that will secure them the right to be children.

Awareness campaigns are vital in our advocacy role. We support local and global initiatives that provide disadvantaged children education, social services benefits and activities that improve their quality of life.

Collaborating with organizations and the private sector that provide humanitarian aid to the youngest survivors and their families in natural disasters such as floods, hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes, when deemed necessary.

Joining forces with other organizations around the world (individuals, non-profit entities, institutions and government agencies) to facilitate services to this sector of the population in critical areas such as education, health and social justice is our commitment to children.

 

We view ourselves as facilitators, one of many actors that constitute the social agenda of universal responsibility towards the most vulnerable population. To aid the youngest victims of exploitation in all continents and to secure their right to be children, we truly believe in alliances. Building partnerships between international organizations, the private sector, local non-profits and individuals is vital to provide children a secure world.

We believe that disseminating relevant information through educational campaigns regarding the violation of children’s rights strengthens social awareness, provokes effective policy making, and will gradually hinder the development of this modern day atrocity.

Social justice efforts come hand in hand with well being initiatives. Thus, supporting a myriad of initiatives that serve underprivileged children will not only secure their rights, but will help prevent that some of them become preys of global exploitation.

 

GOAL

 

To achieve this goal we:

Advocate in favor of children’s rights worldwide. Ricky Martin has become an instrumental voice in generating awareness among audiences of all levels and in all geographic areas of the world. The Ricky Martin Foundation plays a key role in influencing a change in behavior with respect to this issue.

Facilitate alliances with and between local and international organizations, private sector corporations and individual stakeholders on behalf of children’s well being activities, campaigns, projects and programs.

Generate donations from local corporations, international organizations, federal agencies and private individuals to further develop and solidify our role as facilitators and advocates of children rights.

Reassign private funding generated by our President & Founder, Ricky Martin, through his concerts and other fund-raising events.
